X-Men First Class — Shooting to start in 2010

Tim Pocock, the actor who played young Cyclops in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, commented that X-Men First Class should start shooting in 2010 (SciFi Mafia).

Josh Schwartz, the creator of the NBC series Chuck, has completed the script incorporating elements from the 2006 Marvel Comic X-Men: First Class.

X-Men First Class will center on the younger versions of popular characters like Cyclops, Jean Grey, Beast, and Storm.

Edit: Lauren Shuler Donner, who is responsible for bringing all of the Marvel Mutants to the screen thus far, reports that the statement provided by Tom Pocock has no truth behind it.

Shuler Donner reports that X-Men: First Class has no scheduled start date and will definitely not begin shooting in early 2010.
